On February 28, 2022, the U.S. Department of Treasury issued revised and updated Compliance and Reporting Guidance for the American Rescue Act of 2021’s Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund. The new Compliance and Reporting Guidance includes changes to the reporting requirements on use of the funds. The changes to the reporting requirements apply to the next Project and Expenditure Report that Tribal governments need to submit by April 30, 2022 and thereafter. Below is a table from the Compliance and Reporting Guidance listing the quarterly project and expenditure report deadlines. The department has also made additional information on reporting available on its website.
