How I represent clients at Schwabe
As a member of Schwabe’s litigation department, Audrey delivers high-quality briefing and strategic counsel in complex commercial matters. Her practice includes complex trial work, commercial contract disputes, intellectual property disputes, high-stakes product liability matters, defamation and First Amendment law, and appellate briefing. She has significant experience developing legal theories and briefing motions in state and federal court.
Before joining Schwabe, Audrey clerked for Judge Smith on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and Judge Simon on the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon.
Experience
- Part of a team that successfully defended a major semiconductor manufacturer in a potentially billion-dollar case involving claims of false advertising, fraud, negligence, and breach of contract, resulting in a unanimous jury verdict of not liable on all counts.
- Defended professional sports team against defamation and contract claims.
- Responsible for appellate briefing defending jury verdict in favor of supermarket chain.
- Represented coal mine successfully opposing court action that would have halted mining operations.
- Represent companies in commercial contract disputes.
- Member of litigation team defending company against multi-billion dollar suit.
- Represented a PNW religious organization in numerous tort matters.
