Schwabe was ranked #2 in Portland Business Journal’s list of Oregon’s Most Admired Companies of 2023 in the Law & Accounting category. This is a great honor that highlights our deep industry knowledge and leadership in the community.

To generate the rankings for Oregon’s Most Admired Companies, the Portland Business Journal sent surveys to more than 3,700 CEO-level executives in Oregon and southwest Washington. They asked them to select three companies they most admire in 10 industry categories, as well as three companies they admire most across all industries.

Some 300 leaders responded to the survey. To help the CEOs make their choices, the Portland Business Journal provided extensive lists of companies in each category. They were welcome, however, to write in any company not listed. Companies eligible for consideration were not limited to those based in Oregon and southwest Washington but included any business with a substantial presence in the region.

Respondents identified their first-, second- and third-place choices in each category. Here’s how the points were tabulated:

First choice = 3 points

Second choice = 2 points

Third choice = 1 point
