Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt congratulates Dennis Ostgard for being named among the top 100 Super Lawyers in the state of Washington. Dennis is a shareholder in the Seattle office whose practice focuses on real estate, business transactions, and risk management. Of the 22,000 attorneys actively practicing in the state of Washington, only 5 percent are classified as Super Lawyers, and only a fraction of those make the top 100 list.
The primary component of the Super Lawyers selection process is a survey sent to all lawyers who have been in practice for at least five years in states where the survey is conducted. In addition to the survey, research is conducted on nominee credentials, a blue-ribbon panel in multiple practice areas reviews candidates, and direct interviews are conducted with lawyers and law firm representatives to verify each candidate's good-standing.
