Evolution of the Arts - Its Changing Role in Our Region

On November 12, 2009, we explored the changing role of the arts as it strengthens our economy, educates our citizens, and contributes to the well-being of our region. The panelists were: Virginia Willard, Business for Culture & the Arts, Elaine Calder, Oregon Symphony, and Donna Huntsman, former Board Chair of Portland Center Stage.

On November 13, 2008, we explored the weak dollar, shrinking credit, and consumer jitters that have put the squeeze on our Northwest party with three three distinguished panelists: Diane Paulson, Cascade Peak Spirits, Maria Ponzi Fogelstrom, Ponzi Vineyards, and Karen Sheley, Widmer Brothers Brewing Company.

SakeOne Tour and Tasting

On May 22, 2008, a charter bus transported our guests to Forest Grove, Oregon for a tour and tasting of SakéOne.

On October 18, 2007, the City of Portland's Office of Sustainable Development and business owners who have implemented sustainability programs presented ways to green your company. We also explored succession planning and the family owned business with presentations by Jennifer Kreosfky-Rodgers, Harley-Davidson - Columbia Motorcycle and Katherine VanZanten, Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt.
